Narberth In November
If you go down to Narberth today, you’re in for a big surprise! Big Bear has put on some weight and struggled to get into his waistcoat, but we think he looks very stylish all the same.
He found it downstairs in our Ladies and Gent’s Emporium across the way in Narberth’s Clock Tower and liked it so much, he bought two in different colours!
As the autumn chill sets in, we’re sneaking some sparkle into The Golden Sheaf Gallery. Lanterns, candles and fairy lights are brightening up our shelves as the nights get darker and Christmas deliveries are pouring in. We’re always stunned to hear how many of our dear customers have ‘nearly finished’ their Christmas shopping already! Don’t forget, we are always happy to wrap your purchases in our signature teal paper, so that’s one job you can cross off your list without lifting a finger!
The new season has welcomed lots of fresh artists to the gallery upstairs. Andrew McCutcheon, Ken Maycock, Clare Rose and Nat Young have joined us, and we still have more to come. We think the art space is looking really vibrant and we’re excited for you to come and have a look. If you happen to fall in love with a special piece, we offer Collector Plan – this is a wonderful, Welsh scheme that gives everybody an opportunity to own the art they love. Subject to a credit check, you can pay monthly, interest free, and take it home with you today!
We’ve got everything crossed for the results of The Great British High Street Awards, which will be announced at the award ceremony in November. The judging has now taken place, so stay tuned to our social media pages on Facebook and Instagram, where we’ll keep you posted!
